Today, we’re happy to introduce Mathilde, YouTube Channel Manager for the Digital Team at ZED, the company behind the SLICE channels.

Mathilde handles a wide range of tasks, including video editing, creating eye-catching thumbnails, and writing titles and descriptions for several of our channels. 🎥

What does Mathilde enjoy most about her job? Being able to watch high-quality documentaries on a variety of subjects and, at the same time, broaden her general knowledge.

Her favourite SLICE documentary? Life in Fluo, directed by Rachel Guénon and Samuel Guiton and produced by ZED. A true moment of escape that highlights the beauty and complexity of nature. 🌿

This year, the SLICE universe grew:

• With ‪@SliceHistoria‬ , continuing to bring documentaries to Spanish-speaking audiences
• And with a global community of 3.2 million curious minds across 17 SLICE channels, watching in English, French, Spanish, and German 🌍

Our SLICE team joined the 2025 YouTube Camp to celebrate 20 years of the platform, and it definitely made us nostalgic. Do you remember the first video you ever watched? Has the way you use YouTube changed a lot since then?
