I've been there. Staring at job descriptions, feeling overwhelmed by the endless list of tools and skills.

Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Statistics, Machine Learning - the list goes on.

You wonder if you'll ever be good enough.
You question whether you made the right choice.
You feel stuck.

I remember those days clearly. Fresh into the field, I didn't know where to focus my energy.

Should I master visualization first? Should I dive deep into programming? Should I learn everything at once?

The truth is, feeling lost is part of the journey.

But here's what helped me find clarity:

I stopped trying to learn everything and started focusing on fundamentals.
I mastered SQL because data extraction is the foundation of every analysis.
I practiced Excel thoroughly because most business decisions still happen in spreadsheets.
I built small projects instead of waiting to feel "ready."

Each project taught me something new. Each mistake showed me what I needed to improve.

I networked with professionals who had walked this path before me. I asked questions.

I stayed curious.

Slowly, the fog lifted.

Today, I work as a Decision Analyst at Accenture and have mentored over 2,000 students through this same confusion.

If you're feeling lost right now, know this:
Every expert you admire once felt exactly like you do today. The difference is they kept moving forward despite the uncertainty.

Start small. Build consistently. Trust the process.

Have you ever felt lost in your data analytics journey? What helped you find your way?

Let's discuss in the comments.

Hello Guys ,

Over the last few weeks, many of you have messaged me about interviews, career confusion, and real-world data problems. It made me realize something important โ€” the best content is not what I think is useful, but what you actually need right now.

So I want to hear directly from you, my data folks Iโ€™ve created a poll below

Please vote for the topic you want me to cover in my upcoming videos. Based on the maximum responses, Iโ€™ll prepare the next video accordingly with practical examples and real interview insights.

๐Ÿ‘‰ What topic should I cover in my upcoming videos that would genuinely help you?

If thereโ€™s a specific interview question, case study, or problem youโ€™re struggling with, drop it in the comments. Iโ€™ll turn the most requested ones into detailed videos.

This content is for you โ€” letโ€™s build it together

Looking forward to your suggestions ๐Ÿ‘‡

Hey ,

Iโ€™m Mukesh, and Iโ€™m looking for a fresher video editor to join me on this exciting little journey Iโ€™ve started.
I run a YouTube channel that Iโ€™m really passionate about โ€” sharing insights, tips, and experiences to help people grow in their careers and in data analytics.

Right now, itโ€™s just me handling everything, but the channel is starting to grow, and I feel like itโ€™s time to level up the editing game.

Iโ€™m looking for someone whoโ€™s:
Creative and curious
Quick to learn and adapt
Excited about creating content for YouTube & social media (shorts/reels)

Iโ€™ll be honest โ€” the pay isnโ€™t huge at the moment (around โ‚น100-200 per edited minute), but this is the early stage. As the channel grows, the budget will grow too. The vibe is very much โ€œletโ€™s figure it out together and build something cool.โ€

If youโ€™re interested, send me your portfolio/reel (even if itโ€™s small or just a few projects youโ€™ve worked on). Would love to see your creativity and editing style! If youโ€™re interested, Iโ€™d be happy to share a short 3-minute sample clip from an upcoming video for you to edit and show your style.

Letโ€™s create something impactful!
