π³As per local folks, the history and origin of these lakes take us back to Mahabharata story where Babrubahana, after killing his father Arjuna unknowinglt, went on an expedition of searching Nagmani in Naaglok to revive his father. Embarking on his journey, he created this road to Naaglok with his arrow. The entrance and exit of the road formed later on Surinsar and Mansar Lake respectively.
