The Sisters of Divine Providence in Melbourne, Kentucky, are a Catholic community of vowed women religious. We live in accordance with our charism of simplicity, poverty, charity, and abandonment to Divine Providence. No matter where and how we minister, we have a mission to be living witnesses to the Providence of God. God's love becomes real in us as we go out to be Providence to others through the works of mercy.

Have you ever felt stuck between two good options — afraid you might choose wrong?
This week’s reflection is for anyone who overthinks, freezes, or rushes just to escape the discomfort of deciding.
Here’s the good news:
Most decisions aren’t irreversible.
No choice is beyond God’s redemption.
And God walks with you through every step.
If you’re carrying something heavy right now, I hope this offers peace.

Jesus says, “You are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world.”
Beautiful words — and sometimes hard ones.
What if shining doesn’t come easily? What if the world places a basket over some people’s light? This week’s episode reflects on salt and light not as individual achievement, but as a communal responsibility — to see one another’s dignity and make room for everyone to shine.

What does Christian unity really mean when we don’t think, feel, or vote the same way?
In this reflection, I explore Paul’s call to unity — not as agreement or uniformity, but as a shared belonging in Christ. It’s an honest look at disagreement, moral courage, and the hard, holy work of loving one another in a divided Church. I know these are tender topics, but I believe they’re worth praying with together.

🌿 A gentle invitation 🌿
Do you know—really know—that you are God’s beloved?
In our newest episode of the Providence Podcast, we linger with the story of Jesus’s baptism and the quiet, powerful truth spoken over him: “You are my beloved.” That voice isn’t just for Jesus. It’s for us too.
This episode is an invitation to slow down, breathe, and let God’s love sink in—especially if you’re tired, uncertain, or carrying more than you’d like. We reflect on how knowing we are beloved can bring peace, courage, and a softer way of being with ourselves and with others.
If you’re longing for a few quiet minutes with God, we’d love for you to listen and pray along with us. 💛
