Just wanted to pop in to update you guys on some metrics and document a couple more milestones for the channel! We finally reached 2k subs yesterday (3/25/22) and 200k views about a week or so ago also!

As you can see from the graph below, this channel's growth has been remarkably consistent since Day 1. It took 64 videos over 760 days to reach 2k subs which is good for about 3 new subscribers per day on average!

This is literally the perfect growth rate in my opinion and a work of art in itself. I think most YouTube channels experience viral spikes followed by periods of low activity but for 2+ years now this channel has continued to be a clear exception to that rule.

The coolest part to me is that you guys have continued to watch and hit the subscribe button despite me not following YouTube's best (business) practices like posting regularly on a consistent schedule, telling viewers to subscribe at the beginning, middle, and end of all my videos, or plugging my own channel on other people's channels or anywhere else. This channel's growth to this point is 100% organic and I really prefer to keep it that way going forward.

Another thing I could add to that is that most "YouTubers" utilize Google Trends to target certain songs or keywords in order to maximize views but I've never even considered potential video performance or views when planning a video. Instead, I've always stuck to covering whatever band or song I was most inspired to cover at that specific time in my life. For that reason, all of these songs and their accompanying videos are very special to me.

I want to thank each and every one of you still reading this for your continued support. I know I have been slacking a lot with the uploads lately but I am very thankful that this channel continues to thrive despite all of that.

Your awesome requests and enthusiastic comments really helped me make it through one of the toughest times in my life during quarantine and the pandemic and for that I am forever grateful. Those days were really dark but concerts and sporting events have recently returned where I live so there finally seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel!

I am always thinking about this channel as I go about my day listening to my favorite music and adjusting to a healthier and much improved post-pandemic lifestyle. I am extremely humbled that you guys have pushed a tiny little niche hobby channel this far and I am very excited for what the future holds for all of us! Much love 🙏 🙌 ❤️

Mellow Mood by Slightly Stoopid was the last lesson I completed before leaving for my ski trip. The other day, while taking the ski lift, I looked to my left and saw this Slightly Stoopid sticker on this guy’s helmet.

I’m almost sure it was just a coincidence but you guys know the universe can be a crazy place sometimes… 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️

❤️King Krule Covers for King Krule Lovers ❤️

I recently stumbled upon a treasure trove of King Krule covers after Aiden O'Sullivan commented on the Logos video requesting Cosmo Pyke! I knew based on the comment that he had great taste and I was really surprised at the amount of quality covers I found when I clicked on his channel page!
