My name is Daniel Faucett. I am a father and a husband. I believe in a Reformed approach to Christian apologetics, and I attempt to make a clear case for the truth of Christ found in the Gospel. I hope to declare the reality of His saving grace with humility, patience, and respect. I believe the scientific enterprise and philosophy also point to God in many areas, and I attempt to highlight those areas here and through the SFR website (scifr.com).

If you subscribed to this channel a long time ago because of a Jordan Peterson video or some other weird topic from when I didn't know what I was doing on YouTube, and you are no longer interested in the mission of this channel (see below), please do me a favor and UN-SUBCRIBE.
The new and permanent mission of this channel is to teach Christian apologetics by exploring evidence for Christianity in science, by providing sound Biblical exegesis, and by exploring general Christian apologetics and Christian history from a more Reformed perspective. Basically, this channel is about apologetics, science, and most importantly, Jesus Christ and His Word. If you are interested in these topics (see my recent video uploads), then stick around and explore them with me, but if you are not interested, then it's important that you unsubscribe, and trust me, there are no hard feelings (see below for why this is so darn important!)
I have run into a problem where I have consistently 17.5% subscriber watch time percentages, and YouTube will not recommend content after 48 hours if this number doesn't increase to above 20%. The issue is this, I know I have lots of subscribers who came from a Jordan Peterson video I did a long time ago that got over 6 million views (which I deleted awhile ago), and those people don't interact with my channel anymore because that's not what my channel is about anymore (nor has it been for a very long time). So put your Christian hat on and stick around, or put your Jordan Peterson suit on and head over to the Daily Wire or some other fan channel, cause it's unlikely I do a bunch of Jordan Peterson content again unless it ties into Christianity in some way!
So, I am posting weekly now with apologetics/science, Christian, exegesis, and ministry focused content, and this channel is going to do really well. It's already growing a subscriber base from a few consistent uploads and it's doing this while I'm being penned down by zombie subs from a video I made 5 years ago that got over 6 million views! In any case, God is good and I'm excited to see where this channel goes as it will now be consistent in theme, content, uploads, and subscribers who know what to expect from this channel.
