*মহাভারত আসলে কে লিখেছেন? বেদব্যাসের শ্লোকগাথা লিপিবদ্ধ করার উপাখ্যান*
মহাভারত মহাকাব্যটির আয়তন ইলিয়াড ও ওডিসি কাব্যদ্বয়ের সম্মিলিত আয়তনের দশগুণ এবং রামায়ণের চারগুণ। কিন্তু ব্যাসদেবের কাহিনির লিখিতরূপ কে দিয়েছিলেন, তা কি জানেন। ব্যাসদেবের কাহিনিটি নিজে হাতে লিখেছিলেন সিদ্ধাদাতা গণেশ।
ব্যাসদেব মনে মনেই রচনা করে ফেলেন মহাভারতের কাহিনি। কিন্তু তার পাশাপাশি তিনি ভাবেন এই কাহিনি লিপিবদ্ধে করে রাখা জরুরি। কিন্তু কে লিখবেন এই আখ্যান। ব্যাসদেব জানতেন, এটি কোনও সাধারণ লেখকের দ্বারা লেখা সম্ভব নয়। তাই তিনি ব্রহ্মাদেবের স্মরণ নিয়েছিলেন। ব্রহ্মদেব জানান, এই মহান কাহিনিটি সিদ্ধিদাতা গণেশের দ্বারা লিপিবদ্ধ হোক।
ব্যাসদেবের কথা শুনে গণেশ মহাভারত লিখতে সম্মত হন। কিন্তু শর্তারোপ করেন। সেই শর্ত ছিল, তিনি লিখতে আরম্ভ করলে তাঁর কলম থমতে দেওয়া চলবে না। ব্যাসদেবও পাল্টা শর্ত আরোপ করেছিলেন। তাঁর শর্ত ছিল, কোনও শ্লোকের অর্থ না বুঝে তিনি লিখতে পারবেন না। ব্যাসদেব প্রথমে ৮৮০০ কূটশ্লোক অন্তর্ভুক্ত করেন, যেন এই শ্লোকগুলির অর্থ অনুধাবন করতে গণেশের বেশ কিছুটা সময় লাগে, সেই অবসরে তিনি আরও কতকগুলি শ্লোক রচনা করে ফেলেন। উভয়েই পরস্পরের শর্তে সম্ম্ত হন। এবং শুরু হয় মহাভারত লেখার কাজ। গণেশ খুব দ্রুত লিখতে পারতেন। ফলে অতি দ্রুততার সঙ্গে শ্লোক রচনা করার পিছনে ঋষি ব্যাসের প্রজ্ঞার পরিচয় পাওয়া যায়। উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিতভাবে কিছু জটিল বাক্য রেখেছিলেন ব্যাসদেব। তা লিখতে গেলে গণশের বুঝতে সময় লাগে, ফলে ব্যাসদেব শ্লোক তৈরি করতে খানিক ভাবার সময় পেয়েছিলেন। ~মহাভারত, আদি পর্ব

Śrī brahma-saṁhitā 5.50
yat-pāda-pallava-yugaṁ vinidhāya kumbha-
dvandve praṇāma-samaye sa gaṇādhirājaḥ
vighnān vihantum alam asya jagat-trayasya
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
Translation
I adore the primeval Lord Govinda, whose lotus feet are always held by Gaṇeśa upon the pair of tumuli protruding from his elephant head in order to obtain power for his function of destroying all the obstacles on the path of progress of the three worlds.
Purport
The power of destroying all obstacles to mundane prosperity has been delegated to Gaṇeśa who is the object of worship to those who are eligible to worship him. He has obtained a rank among the five gods as Brahmā possessing mundane quality. The self-same Gaṇeśa is a god in possession of delegated power by infusion of the divine power. All his glory rests entirely on the grace of Govinda.
Sri Sri Radha Damodar Mandir is an ancient temple established by Srila Jiva Goswami in the year 1542 C.E. The deities here were served by Srila Jiva Goswami. The original deity was moved to Jaipur when Aurangazeb attacked Vrindavan in 1670 Sri Radha Damodar deities were manifested by Srila Rupa Goswami, who gave them to his dear disciple and nephew-Jiva Goswami for service and worship. Samadhi of Shri Rupa Goswami, Sri Jiv Goswami. Bhajan Kutira and Samadhi of Shri Rupa Goswami: The topmost maidservant of Sri Sri Radha-Krsna is Sri Rupa Manjari. His bhajana-kutira and Samadhi-mandira are situated in the courtyard of Sri Sri Radha Damodar Temple.

ŚRĪ RĀDHĀ-MĀDHAV JI Worshippable Deities of Śrīla Jayadev Goswami - the author of Śrī Gita Govindam Śrī Rādhā-Madhav ji deitieswere served by Śrī Jayadev Gosvāmī when he was in Bengal. Śrīla Jayadev Gosvāmī hailed from Kendubilva which is situated about twenty miles south of Siuri on the banks of the Ajay River. In the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava Abhidhāna it isstated that Jayadeva Gosvāmī found his Rādhā Madhava deities in the Ajay river's waters. These deities were brought to Śrī Rādhā Dāmodar Temple approximately a century ago.
Sri Radha Vrindavanchandra-The worshipable deities of the author of Śrī Chaitanya Caritamrita, Śrīla Krishna Das Kaviraj Gosvāmī Śrī Rādhā-Vrindavanchandra were served by Śrīla Krishna Das Kaviraj at Rādhā-Vrindavanchandra ji temple situated betweenthe Rādhā-Dāmodar temple and Seva Kunj. By their desire, they were later brought to Śrī Śrī Rādhā-DāmodarTemple.
Sri Radha Chail Chikan-These deities were served by Śrīla Bhugarbha Gosvāmī who came to Vrindavan even before the six Gosvāmīs. He was instructed by Mahaprabhu himself to go and live in Śrī Dham Vrindavan. Śrīla Bhugarbha Gosvāmī received Śrī ŚrīRādhā Chailchikan Jiu in Vrindavan. Th ese deities are among a few who never moved out of Vrindavan. They were even in Vrindavan during the attack of Aurangzeb. Th e service to these deities was performed at Chailchikan Kunj,located right in front of Śrī Rādhā-Dāmodar. Around years back, to serve them properly, these deities were brought to Śrī Rādhā-Dāmodar Temple.
With this there is the deity of Gaur Nitai Installed by Śrīla Gorachand Goswami and Jagannath ji Installed by Acharya Śrī Nirmal Chandra Gosvāmi
Giriraj Charan Shila History: Sripad Sanatan Goswami used to live in Vrindavan near Sri Radha Madanmohan temple. Everyday he would go to Goverdhan hill from Vrindavan for Parikrama. When he got old even then this routinge was carried and continue with Parikrama seeing this Lord himself appeared before him and told him that he is happy with his devotion and asked goswamipad to stay at Vrindavan and serve Radha Krishna. Srila Sanatan Goswami said that without coming to the Govardhan Hill he feels pain and grief. Then Krishna gave him a Govardhan Sila with His Foot Print, Flute, Stick & cow's foot print on that and told goswamipad that by doing four Parikaramas of this Govardhan Sila with four signs you will get the complete benefit of Govardhan Parikrama. This Sila has been served in this temple since then, many devotees come to this temple to do Parikrama everyday.
P.S- This temple is the centre of the spiritual world. Just imagine the potency of this place..all the senior pure devotees have visited this temple and it has the dust of their lotus feet. How many prayers are being answered and so many are waiting. The mood and vibes of this temple cannot be described by words, one has to visit and feel it themselves.
