As I was studying Heb 13:5 last week, I am reminded of a God who codifies grace into a scripture where He also assures us of His everlasting presence.
If you are starting this week unsure of God’s unshakable grip over your life. Read on:
“… for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]”
Look at the 7-Fold Guarantee in Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC). In the original Greek, God uses 5 Negatives (the number of GRACE) to create a fortress around your soul.
He doesn’t just say He’s with you; He shouts it 5 times: “NO, NEVER, NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!”
The 7-Fold Seal for your Week: 🛡️ 1️⃣ He will not FAIL you (when you’re weak) 2️⃣ He will not GIVE YOU UP (when you’re tested) 3️⃣ He will not leave you WITHOUT SUPPORT (when you’re in need) 4️⃣ He will not leave you HELPLESS (when you’re overwhelmed) 5️⃣ He will not FORSAKE you (when you feel alone) 6️⃣ He will not LET YOU DOWN (He is faithful) 7️⃣ He will not RELAX HIS HOLD on you! (His grip is tight)
Think of it like this: Imagine a father and son crossing a busy 6-lane highway. The son tries to hold the father’s thumb, but his hand gets sweaty and tired. If his safety depended on his grip, he’d be in trouble.
But the Father reaches down and wraps His massive hand around the boy's WRIST. Even if the boy lets go, the Father cannot relax His hold.
THE ANCHOR: Hebrews 6:19 says this hope is a "sure and steadfast anchor." Most anchors go down into the mud, but this one goes UP into the very Presence of God.
YOUR DECLARATION FOR THE WEEK: 🗣️ "I am not alone. I am held by the Hand of Grace, secured by the Seal of Perfection, and anchored to the Throne of God. He will NOT, NOT, NOT relax His hold on me today!"
This week I learned the grace that redeems failures.
I was taking my daughter to school. Waze said we’d be 1 minute late and I hoped I’d make it up on the road. Then I felt prompted to call my sister. While talking, I drove on “autopilot” and stopped checking Waze… until I hit a traffic jam.
When I looked again, my heart sank: +20 minutes added. I realized my distraction may have made me miss the turn that would’ve saved time. I was upset—because my daughter would feel the consequences of my mistake.
So I prayed: “Lord, help me. Clear the road.” Nothing changed immediately… but I kept believing.
Then as we passed an exit, the road suddenly cleared—and we got to school 5 minutes earlier.
Here’s the lesson: Grace doesn’t only forgive sin—grace redeems mistakes. If you’ve been thinking, “I ruined it… I’m behind… I missed my moment,” hear this: God is able to reroute you and He won’t abandon you.
He will bring you into what He promised—and get you there with His peace.
For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ…” — Ephesians 1:4–5
Before there was sin to be forgiven or a life to be lived, there was love. God didn’t start loving you the day you believed. He didn’t start loving you the day you “got serious” about Him. Long before you took your first breath, before the world’s foundations were laid, God had already set His affection on you in Christ.
This means His love for you is not reactive; it’s not a response to your performance, your behaviour, or your failures. His love came first. Your story starts, not with your mistakes, but with His choice.
When shame whispers, “You’re not enough,” heaven answers, “You were chosen before the world began.” When fear says, “You might lose this,” grace responds, “This love is older than time itself.”
Imagine walking into a room filled with identical chairs, all blending together in the same color. But right in the middle, there's one chair that’s different—unique in color and design. Wouldn’t your eyes be immediately drawn to it? As a believer, you’ve been called out of darkness into God’s marvellous light to reflect His glory and excellence. You are already set apart for greatness, but living out this reality requires intentional effort on your part.
Tomorrow, I will walk you through 9 essential principles that will help you stand out in a crowded world. There’s a unique place in life only you can fill. You don’t need to compare yourself to anyone. Follow your path. Stay committed. Succeed.

As a man thinks in his heart, so is he - that is what the Bible says hence your thought creates your reality.
Do you know the average human thinks 70000 thoughts a day but 80% of those thoughts are negative? Unless we can discipline our thought life, we will keep creating the reality of the thoughts of yesterday.
This Sunday, I will be teaching on “how to develop a disciplined thought life”.. blessings to you..
A form of witchcraft is when the pastor bullies you from the pulpit. Here are some examples:
1. Preaching law (which condemns and inflames sin (1 Cor 15:56, 2 Cor 3:9) 2. Lording it over others (1 Peter 5:3). “Obey the man of God!” 3. Terrorizing people. “God is mad at you. He hates you.” 4. Making threats: “If you’re not careful, Jesus will blot out your name.” 5. Dispensing condemnation: “You’re not doing enough. Receive some guilt.” 6. Withholding communion from those who need it. “Communion is for the worthy.” 7. Naming and shaming publicly: “Let’s see who hasn’t paid their tithes this month” 8. Prostituting the love of God. “God loves you more if you obey.” 9. Extortion: “If you don’t tithe, God will take it off you in doctors’ bills.” 10. Pressuring people to get with the program. “If you’re not serving you’re not part of us.” 11. Shutting down dialogue prematurely. “I’ve heard enough. I’m pulling rank.” 12. Yelling, threats of violence. 13. Attacking those with a different revelation. “False teacher. Heretic. Burn ‘em all!” 14. Cultivating a “do not ask questions” environment. “Good soldiers do what they’re told.” 15. Passing off punishment as discipline. “You must pay for your sin!” Check out the sacred cow conference to learn more:
