Our Nishiki Market food tour in Kyoto is now live 🇯🇵🍢
Known as “Kyoto’s Kitchen,” this narrow, buzzing market street is a full sensory overload in the best way possible. In this cinematic vlog, we taste our way through some of Kyoto’s most iconic street foods, from a crisp pickled cucumber on a stick and a savoury spring onion omelette, to creamy fresh soybean milk and a crispy soybean croquette.
And yes, we saved room for the main event and dessert: charcoal grilled unagi, plus sakura mochi wrapped in pickled cherry leaves and a juicy, pillowy strawberry daifuku 🍓🌸
