Boons tail tells a story .
* The tail and sacrum are heavily linked; a stiff, immobile tail can indicate a lack of freedom in the sacroiliac joint.
* Conversely, a horse with a well-developed, swinging tail is often displaying proper, free movement through its back and pelvis, enabling better stops and turns in the horses performance.
* when the sacrum and the tail become tight your range of motion starts to change quickly and balance changes in how the horse will use his body.
* The pelvic stabilising muscles, primarily targeting the m. biceps femoris and the m. gluteus medius and m. tensor fasciae latae are a big part of hind end movement.

* Wendy has learned that increased activity in the m. gluteus medius and m. tensor fasciae latae, supporting the notion that this exercise engages muscles involved in dynamic pelvic control. Which allows the horse to stay strong much longer.
