wanted to get it out sooner but also needed to build a solid foundation for myself, for anyone who doesn't know i've been working as bricky's editor for the past year now since getting out of treatment, which has allowed me to do so. it's been good, and i finally feel fully ready to jump back into this channel as well.

edit - got an unexpected amount of editing crunch the last half of october, so it's november now.
i know not all of you follow me on twitter (thank fuck, don't), so i realized i should probably make some kind of post here. don't think it'll be much of a surprise to anyone that i've been in a bit of a mental health hellhole for a few years, which has affected my ability to work and put out videos. well, a few days ago i got out of a month and a half long stint in a psychiatric residency and am now spending a few more months in a transition program to ensure that i don't backslide and am able to land properly and solidly on my feet.
i'm not 100% sure when i'll be able to fully continue working on videos, but it's genuinely no exaggeration to say that i feel like a completely different version of myself already, and i'm excited to see what else i can get out of all this shit. once i'm able to i actually earnestly believe i'll be able to get back to posting regularly, something i don't think people even remember that i used to do lol.
i also wanted to thank y'all for staying patient and supportive, and for spamming me so hard with the news that gigantic is coming back that i actually managed to hear about it while i was in the woods. i think there have been moments in the past where i took the support for granted, and i'm both sorry for that and determined not to lose sight of it again. it means a fuckin' lot, so yeah. thank you.
i'll post updates as things continue to move forward over here, but that's the long and short of it for right now.

hiya, i'm intending to start streaming on a more rigid schedule (nothing crazy, just once a week for the time being to adjust/get used to it) and i was curious about how people on here would feel about me streaming here on youtube rather than an external site like twitch? stream highlights and VODs wouldn't be here obviously, actual uploads would be limited to the usual scripted content, i'm just curious whether or not it would be off-putting for me me to actually stream on this platform. poll attached, "the final review of no man's sky" is in the works, hope y'all are having a good week.
as of today i have partnered with ‪@Bricky‬ and his merch shop orchid 8 to run my first proper merch campaign! selling shirts, hoodies, stickers, art prints, and a bodypillow i will not be sharing in this post because i'd like to not get my channel nuked from orbit if possible. for the time being, at least.
