We took this cruise over the New Years Holiday. It was nice to be away from the cold and snow. The videos for this trip are just starting today. Enjoy

People ask how I travel and the answer is Points. Many companies will offer travel points with their credit cards and then they have partner companies who also participate in the points program. These points add up quickly Here are examples of how I earn travel points.
Every time I go to Starbucks (which is a lot) I earn Delta Skymiles. When I use Uber, I earn Marriott Bonvoy points. Safeway also earns me
Alaska Airlines points. Long Distance train trips are often paid by points earned by using Amtrak for local trips around the Pacific Northwest. Deep dive into the Points programs and you’ll find that Reward Travel is the way to go!

Then the cruises - stick with your favorite Line and they offer their most loyal customers special private fares which are much lower than the published price and everynow and then they’ll reward their most loyal with a free cruise. Speaking of Free cruises, my friend Brenda likes to gamble and she earns a “free” cruise from spending in the casino. I’m too cheap for to spend in the casino. Next tip, when you book a cruise be prepared to follow the listed price of the cruise and if it goes down before you’ve made your final payment, call the Line and ask for a price readjustment to the new lower price. In May we’re doing a cruise that was originally $399 per person and the price is now $249, we called and got price reduction and now can spend that money on something else.

This seagull didn’t make it into the cruise vlogs but I’d share his pic here. There was a peanut butter cookie on the table and he wanted it. 🦅
