The House just passed the SAVE America Act, but let’s be clear: this isn’t a voter ID bill. It’s Trump’s election takeover bill, and now the Senate is deciding whether to carve out the filibuster to force it through.

Here’s what it would do:
- Create a nationwide “show your papers” requirement, forcing many Americans to present a passport or birth certificate in person just to register or update their voter registration. Documents ~21 million citizens don’t have readily available.
- Hand state voter rolls over to a national DHS database that could flag voters for removal, something we’ve already seen wrongly block eligible voters.

A troubling development just unfolded in Virginia: A circuit court in Tazewell County just BLOCKED the effort to redraw the maps by ordering “relief” that WASN’T EVEN REQUESTED. The decision is now being appealed to the Supreme Court of Virginia. This does not stop the process. This is a deliberate attempt by Virginia Republicans to confuse voters and block them from having a say. When politicians can’t win fair and square, they turn to lawsuits and misinformation.

What’s at stake is simple. This amendment gives Virginians the final say on fair congressional maps. It’s temporary, it’s an emergency response to a national power grab, and it preserves Virginia’s bipartisan redistricting process after the next census.

After FBI agents seized truckloads of 2020 ballots from a Georgia election facility (weird), Gabbard showed up at the FBI office in Atlanta and brokered a phone call between the agents and the President (weirder). That Gabbard would be present during the raid was stranger still, since our spying agencies are only supposed to look outside the country. They’re not supposed to spy on Americans.
