We heard some of you are making batter overnight for convenience in the morning🙄 Batter 🥞 made last night isn’t breakfast convenience, it’s fermentation gone wild!
Flour + milk + time = microbial growth.

Always make pancake or waffle batter fresh your gut will thank you later🤎

Is That Blood in My Chicken?! Or just time for some food science Class? 🤔

Before you panic and call customer service yelling “There’s BLOOD in my chicken!!!” Pause and take a breath. That pink or red color near the bone? It’s not blood. It’s science, baby.

It’s actually myoglobin, a protein in muscle tissue. When chicken is cooked, especially younger birds with softer bones, myoglobin can react with oxygen and turn red or pink near the bone. Sometimes it even looks a bit dark or purplish if iron compounds are present.

But don’t be fooled by color!
That chicken might look suspicious, but if it’s hit an internal temp of 74°C (165°F), it’s safe to eat. Always ...and I mean always use a food thermometer. Your eyes can lie, but thermometers don’t!

So no, your chicken isn't undercooked. It's just chemistry doing its thing.

Let’s keep busting food myths and raising confident eaters because a well-fed mind is a powerful thing.

Remember...Color is not a safety indicator!

Food Safety Is Not a Joke!
Some of you are constantly sick, popping pills, blaming your body when the real enemy is on your plate. đź‘€

Salmonella isn’t just a word, it’s a deadly bacteria.
Recently, a serious outbreak linked to eggs from August Egg Company (Hilmar, California) left 1 person dead, 38 hospitalized, and over 130 people infected across 10 states. The recall was announced affecting nearly 20 million eggs.
Here’s the truth: You may have eaten contaminated food without knowing, and that upset stomach or infection might not be stress or “just gas.” It could be Salmonella damaging your gut, kidneys, or worse.

📌 How to avoid Salmonella from eggs:
Cook eggs fully. No runny yolks !
• Wash your hands before & after handling raw eggs
• Don’t eat raw batter or dough
• Keep eggs refrigerated
• Don’t cross-contaminate: keep eggs away from other foods
•Disinfect surfaces & utensils touched by raw egg

✅ Food safety is self-care. You can’t heal what keeps harming you.
Be knowledgeable. Be intentional. Be safe.
