Home Pricing 101 - How do you properly value your home? Valuing your home involves a combination of research, professional expertise, and understanding the local real estate market. When researching yourself you will come across some online tools and we all know what a “zestimate” is. A local real estate agent can run comps based on recent sales and your bed/bath count, square footage, condition of your home etc. On top of all that I love to run a market absorption analysis for my clients. That is a breakdown of the inventory in the area, the trend in which it sold over the last two years and how competitive a seller can be when listing their home on the open market.
