None of the commentators on ESPN, Fox, or NFL Network will say a single negative thing about Shedeur Sanders’ preseason performance. After Game 1, he went 14-for-23 for 138 yards and 2 TDs. Sure, he looked impressive but since when do we crown quarterbacks after one preseason game? We’re talking preseason, not the playoffs, not the Super Bowl… preseason. Jaxson Dart played well. Cam Ward played well.

The real reason they won’t critique Shedeur and are overhyping him? Simple they don’t want to risk rubbing his father, Deion Sanders, the wrong way. Plain and simple.
