hi!! little bitty vent here!

if yall didn’t know, im a freshman in high school!

i’ve never been the type to struggle a ton with my grades, but lately thats kinda been changing. my district has these things called “academies” at each high school, and my school has the business academy. our eighth grade year, we can apply if we want to be in the academy. only a select amount of students are let in, and i was one of them! it’s super exciting and i love it, but they also hold you to extreme standards. i’m in two honors classes, and along with business, my workload is insane. i’ve always gotten good grades, but ive also never been the best at math. i made the mistake of taking honors algebra this year, and it’s affected my freshman year so much. my entire day revolves around that class, the morning i dread it and the afternoon im relieved it’s over but i also dread that i have to do it again the next day. long story short, it sucks and im also not good at that class. i’m normally an A or B student, but ive been getting D’s all year in that class. my brother and sister both had 4.0 gpa’s graduating, but im stuck at a 3.14. it’s not awful, but my parents hold me to the standards of my older sibilings and i just feel like im disappointing them. i’ve also lost all motivation to complete assignments for other classes, so ive been so behind. i was sick the past week, and i have so many missing assignments. i know i need to complete them, but my mom has been on my back about it and its stressing me out so much. i have so much stress already with school and business and everything else, so its just adding. i also need to make time to post on this channel, and i hate taking breaks. i know this vent is all over the place, but i had to put my thoughts somewhere !!
