Tenly Kuhn, a senior at Baylor University, is an accomplished pole vaulter, active NIL athlete, and Division I Indoor Track and Field All-American, balancing her role on the track and field team with a rigorous accounting major. A former gymnast who transitioned to pole vault during the pandemic, Tenly rose rapidly in the sport, clearing 4.51 meters in 2025 at the Alumni Muster at Texas A&M and earning top national honors. She consistently placed in top finishes throughout the season, placing 7th at the NCAA Indoor Championships. But her story is just as much about resilience and emotional growth as performance.
Alongside her athletic and academic achievements, Tenly is a member of Baylor’s Women in Business club, advocating for time management, positivity, and strong relationships among aspiring athletes. Open about her experiences with injury, anxiety, and identity, Tenly advocates for mental health in athletics and challenges the idea that success must be linear.
