Electric Dragon is an alternative rock band from Sofia, Bulgaria, fusing 8-bit nostalgia, heavy guitar riffs, groovy beats, hip-hop, and animated vocals into a sound that’s uniquely their own. Since forming in 2005, they’ve built a reputation for their unpredictable energy and genre-blending creativity.

Their latest album, Dark Dragon Rises (2022), received critical acclaim, with The Moshville Times calling it "as well put-together as a major label release… impressively creative." In March 2025, they released their first song in Bulgarian, TDK (They Don’t Know), with more singles on the way.

Known for high-energy live shows, Electric Dragon has rocked clubs and festivals across Bulgaria, including Tattoo Fest Sofia, Graffiti Fest Sofia, Fête de la Musique, We Are Going To Maglizh and September Sun. They’ve also shared the stage with (Hed) P.E. and Dropout Kings.

Anyone seen the unofficial home-made video of the Cowbell? It's uploaded on another channel, because we didn't have a band channel back then. We had a MySpace profile, though!

This video was such a blast to make! We shot it in the living room using an old low-res TV camera. Sparx made the edit in Sony Vegas using color-corrected sprites and backgrounds from NES games. Then we exported the video to a VHS tape which we imported back into digital using a Capture device. You can't fake this look!
