Grieving the loss of someone you truly love & had a deep soul connection with, despite them being alive living well elsewhere, takes such great strength. You will feel such a deep, inexplicable sadness within. It is unbelievable to know & feel such heartache on a daily basis. You will never find another love, the familiar soul of similarity - synchronicity like that in anyone else ever again in this lifetime π–Ή

You can feel their pain, sadness, and fears without even speaking or being near them. It's like they are truly connected as a mirrored soul ᯓᑣ𐭩

You will never find that same soul connection in another, why would you want too?! It was never something to be replicated. However, you can find love again.... in enough time after some deep soul searching, reflection, healing, lesson learned with growth & change.

β€œLove enables us to see things that cannot be seen without love. The eyes of compassion are also the eyes of understanding. Compassion is the sweet water that springs forth from the source of understanding. To practice looking deeply is the basic medicine for anger, hatred and fear.”

β€œLoving another person is seeing that person truly and appreciating him for what he actually is: his ordinariness, his failure and his magnificence. If one can ever cut through that fog of projections in which one lives so much of his life and can look truly at another person, that person, in his down-to-earth individuality is a magnificent creature. The trouble is that there are so many people, and we are so blinded by our own projections, we rarely see another clearly in all his depth and nobility. [.] Loving is not illusory. It is not seeing the other person in a particular role or image we have designed for him. Loving is valuing another for his personal uniqueness within the context of the ordinary world. That is durable. It stands up. It is real.”

Hidden Love
I hid the love within my heart,
And lit the laughter in my eyes,
That when we meet he may not know
My love that never dies.
But sometimes when he dreams at night
Of fragrant forests green and dim,
It may be that my love crept out
And brought the dream to him.
And sometimes when his heart is sick
And suddenly grows well again,
It may be that my love was there
To free his life of pain.
