40K views on a clipped short and I spend 4 hours making an edit and it gets 19 views? Wtf man!

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Prepare Your Ingredients

Gather all ingredients, ensuring the butter is softened and the eggs are at room temperature.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Cream the Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, making sure each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Dissolve Baking Soda
Dissolve the baking soda in the hot water, then add it to the batter along with the salt.

Mix in Dry Ingredients and Add-ins
Gradually stir in the flour, followed by the chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.

Drop Cookie Dough onto Baking Sheets
Drop spoonfuls of the dough about 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the edges are nicely browned.
