Everybody giving advice isn’t sent by God.

Psalm 1:1–2 (ESV):
“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.”

This verse isn’t about isolating yourself from people.
It’s about influence.

Psalm 1 paints a picture of progression —
walking, standing, sitting.
It shows how slowly absorbing ungodly counsel can shape your mindset, decisions, and direction.

But notice verse 2.
The answer isn’t just avoiding bad advice.
It’s replacing it with God’s Word.

If the loudest voice in your life isn’t Scripture,
someone else is shaping your future.

Who’s counseling you?
Culture? Feelings? Social media?
Or the Word of God?

Choose voices that point you to Christ, not away from Him.

Life is full of questions.

Confusion. Waiting. Silence. Doubt.

But the answers don’t just depend on what you ask…
They depend on who you ask.

In Matthew 11:2, even John the Baptist — the one who prepared the way — sent word to Jesus asking, “Are You the One?”

If someone that close to the miracle still had questions, what makes us think we won’t?

Questions don’t make you weak.
They reveal where your trust is anchored.

When life feels unclear, make sure you’re asking the right Person.

Secure in the Climb 🧗🏾‍♀️✨
Life has its peaks and its valleys, but you aren’t climbing solo.

Psalm 23 reminds us that His rod and staff comfort us. Think of them as your spiritual harness and rope; even when the mountain feels vertical and your grip feels weak, He’s the anchor that won't budge.
Don't look down.

Don't give up. Keep climbing. God’s got you. ☝🏾

When you look back and see how many times you’ve been pulled through, doubt isn’t even an option anymore. My history is the proof! 💯🙌🏿

Sometimes the prayer isn’t “God change my situation” — it’s “God change me.”

Growth starts when we stop defending our actions and start asking God to reveal what needs to change. This isn’t about condemnation. It’s about obedience, alignment, and becoming who He’s calling us to be.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.

Dr. King understood that faith doesn’t wait for perfect clarity — it moves in obedience.

God rarely shows us the whole plan at once. He asks for trust. He asks for action. He asks for the next step.

Whether you’re building, healing, creating, or simply trying to stay faithful in hard seasons, remember this: obedience comes before understanding.

Today, we honor Dr. King not just for his courage, but for his faith — faith that moved his feet, shaped his voice, and changed history.

Keep walking.
Keep trusting.
Take the step God is calling you to take.

📖 Truth Check

“We’ll all stand before God one day, and the only thing that will matter is whether we lived according to His Word, not man’s opinions.”

The Bible is clear about this:

Romans 14:12 (ESV)
“So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.”

2 Timothy 4:3–4 (ESV)
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching… and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”

Galatians 1:10 (ESV)
“For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? … If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.”

Culture changes. Opinions shift. God’s Word stands forever.

💬 Question: Are we shaping our lives around Scripture—or adjusting Scripture to fit the world?

I woke up yesterday with these words sitting heavy on my heart ❤️
And they’ve been there ever since.

There is so much power in the name of Jesus.
So much grace.
So much mercy.
So much forgiveness, understanding, hope, peace, and love — all wrapped up in His name and so much more.

On the hard days, we can call on His name.
On the good days, we can call on His name.
And He will never forsake us.

It’s been a rough start to the year for us, but I’m holding on to this truth.
Like the song says, “It’s something about the name Jesus… it’s the sweetest name I know.”
