I have been living in Jammu for the past one year, and in this short span of time, I have completely fallen in love with this beautiful and vibrant place. From its scenic beauty to its rich culture, everything about Jammu has left a lasting impression on me. But more than anything else, it's the people here who have truly won my heart. The warmth, kindness, and simplicity of the people living in Jammu are something I will always cherish—khand mithe log dogre, as they say, and it couldn’t be more true. The Dogras are incredibly sweet, welcoming, and always ready to lend a helping hand with a smile. I’ve had the privilege of making some amazing friends here, especially Sugandha and Rakesh, who have become such an important part of my journey. I’ll also deeply miss Buji, whose presence added so much comfort and joy to my daily life. Today marks my last day in Jammu, and though I’m leaving, my heart is heavy with emotion. I’ve already started missing everything about this place—the people, the memories, and the sense of belonging I found here. Jammu has become more than just a place I lived in; it has become a part of me.
