Would like to hear your opinions
my wife was wronged by Bellevue police department and I have been vocal about my mistrust in them most of the bpd knows who I am and doesnt like me due to me speaking against them when they do something wrong and immoral.
So my 16yr old daughter had her first car accident (her fault) but no injurys minor damage and she has insurance info she gave to the other driver who called the police probably because she didnt know you aren't required to do so.
Well the officer arrived my daughter is in tears and he tells her not to worry she not in trouble or going to get any tickets he just has to make a report then the officer gets her information and finds out she's my daughter and gives her an improper lane change ticket???
She was nice respectfull and more cooperative than she needed to be and the officer lied about giving her a ticket and gave her one just for being my child.
Am I right to be upset that bpd lies to our children and then takes their grudges out on them? Is this the kind of policing we are supposed to be proud of?

We had our pretrial today denied their diversion offer and requested trial by jury which was approved for August 15th. Just before the hearing our attorney told Brandi Lang (city prosecutor) that we wouldn't be taking a deal and she stated "i hope she has alot of money" she also had previously told our attorney that they don't care how many videos I post or complaints are made they aren't biased and are treating this case just like any other. Which tells me they don't care about the opinion of the public they claim to serve.

Another thing recently brought to my attention their are alot of people out their who have been wronged by the Bellevue nebraska police and many of which I'm sure didn't have video of their own or resources to let their story be heard.
