Preston Stewart and Ben Wheeler will be back soon to talk about the capture of Maduro, but till then - here’s an important message from Ben:
The Pentagon Pizza Tracker is not real and its discussion causes me great distress.
The Pentagon has a pizza place, it has any kind of food you could possibly want. It’s explicitly there so they don’t order delivery.
Secondly, what you see on Google with these surges is based on phones inside of the various pizza shops around the Pentagon. It’s not the influx of orders. People don’t typically go inside of pizza places outside of a pick up, so a few people an hour is enough to cause a spike.
Lastly, let’s get serious for a minute. Am I to believe that America’s military is eating pizza every single day and night during periods of tension and conflict? That’s absurd.
The pizza tracker is fake. Go check it on a day where nothing is happening - you’ll see the same kind of spikes.
