We live in a time and season where there is a lack of the love and desperation for God. Right now I’m reading “Covered Wagon Days of Evangelism,” and this book has been impacting me chapter by chapter. I have read examples of miracles and God leading this family in this book; that in all honestly I say the church wouldn’t believe today. The verse comes to my head “the effectual fervent prayers of a righteous man avails much,“ and the question that comes to my mind is do we believe it? My prayer for us today is that you and I both believe (to be completely persuaded) what God says is true and when He starts something we know He will complete that good work! In the storm praise Him, pray to Him, and continue to fall in love with His Word!

John 8:12
“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the Light of the world: he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the Light of Life.”
Such a great promise from Jesus in John 8:12. He is The Light of the world so as believers we do not have to worry about the darkness over shadowing us!
