Here in Australia, we have nasty little critters that have the capability of paralysis or can possibly kill your house pets within days due to its poison type nature, commonly known as the "Tick", it will latch onto your clothing or skin and then proceed to warmer parts on your body, more particularly areas that have lots of blood flow, I found them trying to burrow behind the lower part of my ear along the jugular vein zone(this creature must have thermal vision), they will burrow underneath the skin, feeding your blood and leaving you with an awful wound that can weep, or fester for days.
Lesson be learnt that you should never go off course in the buslands, especially along the stunningly beautiful southern coastal region, Australia is a lovely place to call home, yet, it is so hostile as well.
