When Nora arrived in India, she faced numerous hardships while trying to survive in the country. In an interview, she opened up about her difficult experiences, describing those days as "traumatic."

Recalling her initial struggles, she said, *"I came to India with just ₹5,000 in my pocket. I didn’t even understand what $1,000 felt like."*

She went on to share how she lived in a three-bedroom apartment with nine other people, saying, *"I stayed with nine psychopaths and had to share a room with two other girls. I often wondered, ‘What have I gotten myself into?’ Even now, the experience haunts me."*

Nora also spoke about the financial challenges she faced, revealing that she barely had enough to eat. *"The agency deducted a huge chunk of my earnings and paid me very little. I survived on just bread and an egg. It was a rough phase—I needed therapy. The struggle was intense. They would charge a commission and even deduct money for just breathing. Some agencies exploit you, and there are no laws to protect you,"* she added.
