The answer is that it is not permissible according to Sharia law to set off fireworks on the night of Shab-e-Barat, because setting off fireworks is an unlawful act according to Sharia law due to its being extravagant, and if someone does it on this night thinking it will be a reward, it will also be considered an innovation, so it is essential to avoid it.
