A 9th century Kotravai Vigraha is found near Madurai. The Devi with four hands, badra Kundala and bangles are typical of the Pandya style Murthy. The Prayoga Chakra & Shanka indicate that it is Vishnu Durga similar to one found in Pandya rock cut shrines.
