🌊 Deep in the Igbomina hills, her voice echoed through the mountains. The villages of Owa-Kajola and Owa-Onire lived in reverence of her, and every generation, Esawu chose a guardian.
This time, she chose Arodan, the calm firstborn.
But his brother, Ojeniyi, burned with silent envy.
When Arodan was anointed, the falls roared.
But Ojeniyi’s silence cracked into betrayal.
He entered the forbidden cave…
He drank from the black pool…
He was cursed by the goddess and turned into a serpent. 🐍
