Sidestepping Tutorials!
Here, you’ll find content focused mostly on Tekken. I share tips, strategies, and insights to help players and myself to improve and enjoy the games even more. (teaching helps me to learn)

Whether you’re looking to level up in Tekken or get a deeper understanding of other things or games, you’re in the right place since I’ve always loved competitive gaming.

People keep saying fighting games are unpopular because they lack content or are too hard. I don’t think that’s the core issue.

Games like Valorant basically revolve around one main mode, ranked, and people are fine with that. Difficulty alone isn’t the problem.

The real issue is perceived fairness. If I lose 100 percent of my life off two interactions then that doesn’t feel competitive, it feels volatile. Yes, you should always look at your own mistakes, but that doesn’t automatically make extreme damage or momentum swings enjoyable.

Give players a cleaner Tekken 8, tone down Heat, reduce excessive tracking and oversized hitboxes, reconsider Rage. Lower combo damage overall, except for clear clean block punishment. (If someone gambles with a hellsweep and I block it, that damage is earned.)

And: Make plus on block attacks and Highs more visible. Stop the gate keeping and make the game a little bit less exhausting for new players. Heat does the opposite btw....

Tell me you don't play leverless without telling me you don't Play leverless...

I’m being honest.
I started playing Tekken on leverless recently, and people massively exaggerate this topic. Yes, some inputs like f,n,df+2 become easier on leverless, but a proper electric with f,n,d,df+2 still requires real execution and consistency (and you need this execution for while running electrics)

Electric is a top tier move (especially in the right hands), but it’s still a high, it has pushback, and you can’t just do any follow up attack after it (most of the times because of the pushback) Meanwhile, there are characters with zero execution mids, long range, plus on block, that put you right in the opponent’s face.

What do you think and why?

I genuinely don’t understand how people are more upset about players complaining about this move… (Anna's fcDF2) than about the move itself...

Zero execution.
Long range.
Massive reward.
100 % guessing and mix up (Hopefully S3 is going to make this shih walkable)
And suddenly people hide behind the same old excuse:

“High risk/high reward.”
NO.

Every low is high risk.
That’s not a defense, that’s the baseline of Tekken.
Imagine a Jin player spamming d4 all day.
What happens?
He gets low parried.
He gets hopkicked.
He gets blown up.

So let’s stop pretending this move is some brave 300IQ gamble.
It’s low effort, high payoff and that’s exactly why people are mad.
