Ricky Marciano only weighed 187 pounds when he landed this knockout punch on the legendary Jersey Joe Walcott during their Heavyweight title fight on September 23, 1952.

The only other time I’ve seen this level of flesh shockwave was when Michael Chandler knocked out Tony Ferguson with a kick in their lightweight MMA fight on May 7, 2022, at UFC 274.

Rocky wasn’t a big man, but he was known to train harder than any other boxer in his day. He was the rare example of a fighter with both endless cardio and freaky punching power.
