🐄 update. As you can see our orphaned twin heifers are nearly fully grown 🤗🤗🤗🤗 still cute as ever and love attention. They truly are like grass puppies!

The cow we took to the butcher returned. Final weigh in 405lbs. Three years ago I remember watching YouTube videos on “how to start a cattle farm.” It’s hard to believe the dream has been realized so soon! APTTMH!!

I woke up this morning and heard a loud moo outside our window. Thinking it was just our cows in the back being louder than usual I rolled over to try to catch more sleep LOL. My husband went outside to take the dog out and this is who greeted him 😂😂 somehow these girls and one guy (nose up to the bedroom window who’s voice I heard) got out of the pasture and into the backyard. My friend said some people have roosters to wake them up and we apparently have cows to do that 😂😂😂 🐄

Creating a different currency in today’s economy means using what you have to barter and trade! We traded several gallons of 🥛 for a few hundred pounds of mulch! HalaluYHUH!
