Forced Entry, Arrest, and No Answers – My Experience on 3 February 2026”

What happened to me on the 3rd of February 2026 has left me shaken, confused, and honestly struggling to understand how this was allowed to happen.
That day, the police forced entry into my home. There was no warrant, no paperwork shown, no explanation before they came through the door. One moment I was in my own space
I was told I was being arrested because my nephew had accused me of assault. That alone was shocking. But then things escalated even further.
During the search, they took a small electric lighter and torch that hangs on my back‑door keyring — something I bought cheaply on eBay, something I’ve only ever used to light the stove.they said they'd post my backdoor keys,instead they bought them to the station then They seized it and treated it as an “offensive weapon.” They have it now. Hearing them describe that little stove‑lighter as a weapon… it didn’t feel real. It felt like my life was being twisted into something it isn’t.
I was taken to Pride Park custody suite and kept there for around seven hours. Seven hours where I was in severe pain, asking again and again for my prescribed medication — and it was never given to me. Not once.
I wasn’t helped. I wasn’t supported. I wasn’t assisted at any point. I wasn’t collapsed on the floor, but I was struggling badly. And the fact that nobody helped me, nobody gave me the medication I rely on, nobody checked on me properly… that’s something I’m still trying to process.
When I finally got home at 11:40 that night, I felt like I’d been dropped back into my own life without any explanation or support. My body hurt. My mind was spinning. I felt shocked, confused, and honestly… abandoned.
Since then, I’ve reached out to my GP, my welfare adviser, my MP, and Derby Carers. I’ve tried to get help. I’ve tried to get clarity. But I’ve been met with silence, delays, or no real answers. And that leaves you feeling even more alone — like you don’t matter, like what happened to you isn’t important.
This whole experience has left a mark on me. I’ve been anxious, shaken, and worried about where things are heading. I’m not making this video for drama or attention. I’m making it because I believe people deserve to know how vulnerable residents are treated. I believe in transparency. I believe in accountability. And I believe that what happened to me shouldn’t happen to anyone else.

Anxiety - arthritis in both knees - sleep apnia -ptsd -depression - blood pressure -chronic backpain - vertigo
medications

Seen doctor,more higher doses of anti depressants, still have nausea ,anxiety, lack of sleep vertigo , appetite loss,ptsd,arthritis, chronic pain,chilling in bed,drop of rum.

Struggling today, tried to get help,emails,doctors,10 pounds in phone credit gone,still nothing resolved mentally strained, still nauseous anxious in pain that cell is in my dreams now,for what? a spat with another person,mountain outta a mole hill comes to mind, now im wound up like a spring need to straighten out ,stressed worried and alone,I'm not functioning right,I hope I make it through this,all this is has been so negative.

7 hours locked in a holding cell — standing the whole time to stop my back seizing.
Police took my meds from my home but kept them from me for seven hours.
Bedridden for 48 hours after, then another 48 hours without food. Body in shock.
Wrong address of incident,no warrant to enter property,no permission no right of entry,no witness,just accusation,just a domestic argument with a person.They mays well of took the knives out out of the kitchen draw and charged me,i did not ever carry anything,electric fire lighter/torch on my back door keyring they told me they'd lock backdoor as i was put in cuffs when told them they CAN NOT ENTER MY PROPERTY i asked female offer "WHERES YOUR WARRENT?" BANG! CUFFS ON AT MY FRONT DOOR 15 Seconds INTO ANSWERING THE FRONT DOOR! they said they'd post the key but behind my back took to the station,- i used electronic lighter on my gas cooker to light flame to cook bought from ebay uk,there saying its a firearm?
Anxious, asthmatic, arthritic — and alone.
Apparently heading to Crown Court. WTF?

I will never trust authorities again. Their attitude is wrong.
