I am Jeroen Linnenkamp, a landscape astrophotography enthusiast from The Netherlands. Join me on my adventures under the night sky, photographing the milky way, star constellations, planets, the moon, distant galaxies and everything else the universe has to offer.
I will also take you along with the planning process involved with a nightscape image, talk about equipment, show you how to shoot in the field and share in depth post processing photo editing tutorials.
My goal is to inspire you to start your own astro adventure, get the best results you can and enjoy the beautiful experience of being out under the stars.

Today we seem to have lost one of the most inspirational, kind and incredible astrophotographers out there. Alyn Wallace has teached me so much and was one of the reasons I started my YouTube channel. I wanted to give back to this great astro community to which Alyn in particular has given so much. I haven't had the chance to meet him in person but from various chats we had I know he was the friendliest guy in the universe. I am devastated and in tears by this terrible news. May you rest in peace dude, hopefully under a clear bortle 1 starry sky. You will be missed.

Way too many cloudy nights lately. What do you do as an astrophotographer during those?

While the last hours of 2023 are ticking away, I am having some fun with editing an upcoming video. I'm also reflecting on all the great adventures under the stars I've shared with so many nice people. Thanks guys, you know who you are! And last but not least, thank YOU so much for watching, liking and commenting! Seeiing that the hard work is inspiring at least some of you keeps me going and makes it all worth it. I wish you an insane amount of clear skies out there in 2024!

The next video is taking some more time than expected to process. But it's cooking! It will be a pretty long one also!

New vlog coming soon! This one is all about reflections, not using a star tracker, stages of darkness and frogs.

Happy new year everyone!
And what a year it has been! Last summer I decided to start sharing my astrophotography adventures with you here on YouTube. With no filming experience whatsoever I made 20 vlogs already, causing 474 of you to decide to join the journey and hit that subscribe button. Thanks for your support!
I already have lots of new astro plans for 2023. Stay tuned!
I am eager to go out under the stars again but it's been cloudy and rainy here for weeks now. Do you have any video ideas / requests for those cloudy nights in-between on location shoots?

I've wanted to create an HaRGB version of Orion for about 1,5 years now. Last Sunday morning it finally happened! After a beautiful and very succesful shoot at a Dutch Lighthouse (vlog coming soon about that first part of the night!) I decided to drive to the Veluwe to give Orion another go in the early cold morning hours. Tired as heck and frozen to the bones, but I didn't care when I saw the results coming in on the LCD screen! I was too tired by then to vlog this Orion session but I thought I'd share the result here nevertheless.
Have you ever tried to make an HaRGB wide angle image?
