Greetings Future & Current Homeowners, I wanted to provide you with the update in case you have not heard it already. Fannie Mae has relaxed its 620 minimum credit score requirement. What does this mean for you if you are in the market to purchase a home? This means that all factors of your credit worthiness will be taken into consideration. For instance if you have a steady and positive rental history, this may be factored in for consideration on a mortgage loan.

My thoughts: I think this is a wonderful new opportunity for those of you out there who are just under the threshold requirements, but still have great rental history with other variable factors that shows a positive credit history.
