## Walking with God: A Sacred Practice for Clarity and Peace

When life feels overwhelming and your heart is heavy with confusion, there's a beautiful, ancient practice that brings you back to center—one that connects your body, mind, and spirit with the loving presence of God. It's simple, accessible, and profoundly healing: taking a walk in God's creation.

### A Divine Invitation to Move

One of the most powerful things I've discovered in my spiritual journey is this: when confusion clouds my mind and anxiety grips my heart, I step outside and walk for 20 to 30 minutes. This isn't just about physical exercise—it's a sacred act of communion with the Creator.

Science confirms what our spirits already know: walking calms your nervous system, reduces stress hormones, and brings mental clarity. But there's something even more profound happening. When you walk in God's creation—feeling the earth beneath your feet, breathing the air He designed for your lungs, witnessing the beauty He painted across the sky—you're opening yourself to receive His whispers of love and guidance.

### Creating Space for God's Voice

A change of environment is often exactly what we need to shift our perspective and hear what God has been trying to tell us all along. When we're stuck indoors, stuck in our routines, stuck in our worries, we can become spiritually congested. Walking creates space—physical, mental, and spiritual space—for God's clarity to flow through.

Here's what I've learned: when we're not ready for the next season God is preparing for us, we unconsciously hold ourselves back. Our nervous system responds to this internal resistance with anxiety, restlessness, and confusion. But God, in His infinite love and patience, invites us to move—literally and figuratively—so we can align with His timing and His plans for our lives.

As you walk, your body releases the tension. Your mind begins to quiet. And suddenly, you can hear Him more clearly. The answers you've been seeking start to emerge. The peace you've been craving begins to settle over you like a warm embrace.

### Walking as Prayer, Walking as Worship

Transform your walk into a moving meditation with God. As you take each step, thank Him for the gift of movement, for the body He gave you, for the breath in your lungs. Notice the details of His creation—the way light filters through leaves, the sound of birds singing their praises, the vast sky that speaks of His limitless love.

This is worship. This is prayer. This is you saying "yes" to the abundant life He wants for you.

When you walk with the intention of connecting with God, something miraculous happens: you remember that you're not alone. You remember that the Creator of the universe is walking beside you, guiding you, loving you unconditionally. You remember that His love for you is not dependent on your productivity, your perfection, or your performance—He loves you simply because you are His.

### Your Sacred Invitation

So here's my invitation to you, beloved: the next time anxiety knocks on your door, the next time confusion tries to steal your peace, the next time you feel stuck or overwhelmed—go outside. Take a walk. Breathe deeply. Talk to God. Listen for His voice in the rustling leaves and the gentle breeze.

Let Him remind you of who you are: His beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made, called to live in His peace and walk in His purpose.

You are not walking alone. The Creator God is not only on your side—He is walking with you, step by step, breath by breath, leading you into the clarity and peace you've been seeking.

*"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." - Deuteronomy 31:8*

Walk in His love. Walk in His peace. Walk in His presence.

Hugs and blessings,

Elizabeth

## How One Simple Practice Rewired My Anxious Mind

I want to share something that has radically shifted my entire relationship with anxiety. It's so beautifully simple that you might be tempted to skip right past it—but I'm asking you not to. This practice is breathwork, and it has been nothing short of life-changing.

For the longest time, anxiety had me in a chokehold. My thoughts would spin into endless loops of worry. My chest would tighten. My shoulders would creep up toward my ears. I felt like I was at war with my own mind and body, day after day.

Then I discovered intentional breathing—and slowly, gently, everything began to change.

Breathwork isn't just a quick fix to calm my nerves in the heat of the moment (though it does that too). It has rewired the way I process stress, the way I show up in my life, and the way I navigate challenges with grace instead of panic.

Science backs up what I've experienced in my own body: dedicating just 5 minutes to conscious breathing can bring your nervous system back into balance. In a world that never stops moving—where notifications ping, screens glow, and pressure mounts—most of us are struggling to stay present. How can we focus on our dreams when we can barely focus on the task in front of us?

**Here's the truth I've come to know: Without a calm, regulated nervous system, creating the life you truly desire is nearly impossible.**

When your nervous system is overwhelmed and dysregulated, you're stuck in survival mode. Your body perceives danger everywhere, even when you're safe. And in that state, your capacity to dream, to plan, to take inspired action—it all shuts down.

But here's the gift, the grace, the good news: **You hold the key to shift this—right here, right now.**

### A Sacred 5-Minute Morning Ritual

I want to invite you into a practice that has become sacred to me. Try this in the morning if you can. The early hours are quieter, softer, more spacious. Your mind hasn't been flooded with the day's demands yet, and your spirit is open to receive.

**Here's how to begin:**

- Find a comfortable space where you feel held—sit tall or lie down, whatever feels right for your body
- Softly close your eyes and turn your attention inward, away from the noise of the world
- Draw a slow, deep breath in through your nose, letting your belly rise and expand
- Hold that breath gently at the top for a count of 4
- Exhale slowly and fully through your mouth for a count of 4
- Repeat this cycle 4-5 times, or as long as it feels nourishing to your soul

There's no timer judging you. No "right way" to do this. This is your sacred time to come home to yourself, to listen to the whispers of your body. **You are held. You are safe. You are deserving of this peace.**

After you complete the practice, pause and notice what you feel. Perhaps there's a clarity in your thoughts that wasn't there before. Maybe your body feels lighter, softer. Or perhaps there's just a quiet knowing deep within that says, "I'm okay." These gentle shifts are the seeds of transformation.

**Begin right where you are, beloved. Trust what unfolds.** ✨

With so much love,

Elizabeth

## Embracing Your Shadows: A Journey to Inner Wholeness

Self-care is everywhere these days—spa treatments, clean eating, wellness retreats. These practices are wonderful, but there's a deeper layer we often overlook: the wounded parts of ourselves that still live in the past, quietly calling for our attention.

Life moves so quickly that we rarely pause to tend to old hurts. But what if you could travel back through time and offer comfort to the versions of yourself who needed it most? What if you could finally address those moments you didn't have the strength or resources to face before?

This compassionate practice is known as shadow work.

### The Necessity of Meeting Your Shadow

Some people insist this kind of inner work isn't necessary for growth. But if you're like me, you've felt the invisible walls that keep you from the next chapter of your life. Perhaps you've wondered why you can't break through to greater financial abundance, deeper relationships, or lasting inner peace.

The answer often lies in the shadows—the unhealed parts of yourself that are quietly asking for your love and attention.

### Gentle Tools for Deep Healing

Here are three compassionate practices to guide you on this sacred journey:

- **Forgiveness:** Create space to release yourself from blame. The pain you experienced happened to a different version of you—someone who was doing their best with the tools they had. You are not defined by what happened to you.
- **Conscious Breathing:** Dedicate time each day to breathwork. This practice calms your mind, brings clarity to your thoughts, and gently heals your nervous system, creating a foundation for deeper transformation.
- **Sacred Journaling:** The act of writing bridges your inner and outer worlds. Through journaling, you anchor the healing work you've done and create lasting change within yourself.

**Remember: Self-love is not passive—it requires action.** These practices are your pathway to cultivating genuine inner peace and joy.

With love and light,

Elizabeth

## Divine Timing: When You Align with God's Plan, Time Becomes Your Ally

In a world that whispers "hurry" and shouts "you're running out of time," I want to share a spiritual truth that has transformed not only my life but the lives of countless women I've walked alongside: **Time is not your enemy—it's a divine gift waiting to be stewarded with intention.**

### The Illusion of Scarcity

So many beautiful souls today carry a heavy burden—the fear that time is slipping through their fingers like sand. Between work demands, life's challenges, and endless responsibilities, the feeling of "not enough time" becomes a constant companion, whispering lies of inadequacy and failure.

But what if I told you that this struggle isn't really about time at all?

### The Sacred Practice of Intentional Planning

Over the years of ministering to women seeking deeper purpose and spiritual alignment, I've witnessed a profound pattern: **When women set sacred time aside to plan with intention—to seek God's guidance for their projects, goals, and dreams—they experience a supernatural shift in momentum.**

This revelation led me to a question that changed everything: **Is it truly a lack of time, or is it a lack of divine alignment and intentional planning?**

### Philippians 4:13 in Action

Remember the promise: "I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me." This isn't just a comforting verse—it's a blueprint for how we approach our time and our calling.

When you pause to write down your God-given goals and seek His direction for your week, something miraculous happens:

- **Your mind finds rest** because you're no longer carrying the weight of remembering everything
- **Your spirit gains clarity** because you're operating from divine order, not chaotic reaction
- **Your dreams receive oxygen** because you've created space for what truly matters in God's plan for you

Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans." When you commit your time to paper, you're not just organizing—you're **partnering with the Divine to establish His purposes in your life.**

### Freedom Through Surrender and Structure

Clouded judgment blocks creativity. Anxiety about the future paralyzes productivity. But when you surrender your week to God through intentional planning, you create a clear channel for His wisdom to flow.

Think of it as preparing the soil of your life. A gardener doesn't just throw seeds randomly and hope for the best—she prepares the ground, plans the planting, and tends with intention. Your life, your dreams, your calling—they deserve the same sacred attention.

### Testimonies of Transformation

This spiritual practice of planning with divine intention has been revolutionary for the women in my community. They've discovered a liberating truth: **Time expands when you align it with God's will, and planning becomes prayer in action.**

One woman shared: "I used to feel like I was drowning in obligations. But when I started dedicating Sunday evenings to prayer and planning my week with God's guidance, everything shifted. I found time for things I thought were impossible—my business, my family, my spiritual growth. It's like Ephesians 3:20 came alive: He truly does 'immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.'"

### Your Invitation to Divine Partnership

Beloved, the next time worry about your future creeps in, I invite you to try this spiritual practice:

- **Breathe deeply** and center yourself in God's presence
- **Open your journal** and invite the Holy Spirit to guide your planning
- **Write down your goals** as prayers, asking God to order your steps
- **Trust His timing** as you commit your plans to Him

Hebrews 13:5-6 promises, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." This includes your relationship with time. God is not rushing you. He's not watching the clock with disappointment. He's inviting you into partnership—where His infinite wisdom meets your faithful stewardship.

**Time becomes your ally when you recognize it as a gift from the Divine, meant to be received with gratitude and managed with intentional faith.**

You are not behind. You are not running out of time. You are exactly where God needs you to be, learning what you need to learn, becoming who He's called you to be.

**Divine timing is perfect timing. And when you align your planning with His purpose, you'll discover that time truly is on your side.** ✨

Walking in faith and divine rhythm with you,

Elizabeth

Write Your Joy: Journaling Prompts for Embracing Life's Fleeting Beauty

www.ElizabethMagicalGarden.com]

As we get older, life can feel as if it's passing us by—not to mention our beauty. But what if I told you that the way we perceive aging can completely transform our experience of it?

One of the things that has helped me see things from a different perspective and maintain a positive outlook is self-care. There is something to be said about sitting in front of the mirror and doing my skincare, applying makeup, giving myself a facial, or simply saying my affirmations. These practices have allowed me to embrace the aging process with grace and gratitude.

The Power of Morning Gratitude

Another thing that has profoundly helped me is making sure to give gratitude first thing in the morning. In fact, it's usually my opening statement when I write in my journal.

Studies show that when you start the day with gratitude, the rest of the day flows better. Giving gratitude puts you in a frame of mind that allows you to see and receive life's challenges from a new perspective.

Doing this not only gives you peace of mind, but it also allows you to harness positive energy—leading to a transformative daily lifestyle that encompasses personal growth and helps you unlock your spiritual path.

I believe God hears our hearts and loves when we show appreciation for the life He gives us—something that you start to appreciate more and more as you age.

Everything You Need Is Already Within You
www.ElizabethMagicalGarden.com

What if I told you that everything you've ever wanted is already inside of you?

Many people operate under the false notion that they need to study for years on end to be successful. Don't get me wrong—education is definitely a powerful tool to have. I believe in higher education. But what I'm discussing here is something much deeper: an inner knowing of what you can become, if only given the chance.

From the time you were born, you were programmed to become who you are right now. Think about it: your parents told you what to eat, how to speak. Then you went to school and they told you how to think. You really never had a choice or the time to find out who you truly are.

In a world that is always evolving, it's pretty safe to say we as a society are confused.

So how do you reclaim your power when everything and everyone tells you otherwise?

## The Breath That Changes Everything

There's a practice that has completely transformed my relationship with anxiety—and it's something so simple, you might overlook it: breathwork.

For years, I struggled with anxious thoughts that would spiral out of control. My mind would race, my body would tense, and I felt like I was constantly fighting against myself. Then I discovered the power of intentional breathing, and everything shifted.

Breathwork doesn't just calm me down in the moment—it has fundamentally changed how I think, how I respond to stress, and how I move through the world.

Research confirms what I've experienced firsthand: just 5 minutes of intentional breathing can regulate your nervous system. In our fast-paced, digitally-overloaded world, most people struggle to focus on basic daily tasks, let alone pursue their biggest dreams.

**Here's what I've learned: You cannot build the life you desire without a regulated nervous system.**

When your nervous system is dysregulated, you're operating from survival mode rather than creation mode. Your body thinks it's under threat, so it shuts down your ability to dream, plan, and take inspired action.

But here's the beautiful truth: **You have the power to change this right now.**

### Your 5-Minute Morning Reset

I invite you to try this simple practice, ideally first thing in the morning. The morning hours are sacred—there's less noise, fewer distractions, and your mind is fresh and receptive to new patterns.

**The Practice:**

- Settle into a position that feels supportive—sitting upright or lying down
- Gently close your eyes and bring your awareness inward
- Inhale deeply through your nose, allowing your belly to expand fully
- Pause at the top of your inhale and hold for 4 counts
- Release your breath slowly through your mouth for 4 counts
- Continue this rhythm 4-5 times, or longer if it feels nourishing

There's no rush. No pressure to do it "perfectly." This is your time to reconnect with the wisdom of your body. **You are safe. You are in control. You are worthy of this peace.**

When you complete this practice, notice how you feel. You might experience more mental clarity, a sense of calm in your body, or simply a quiet knowing that you're okay. These small shifts accumulate into profound transformation.

**Start exactly where you are today, and trust the process.** ✨

With love,

Elizabeth

## Say Yes to Yourself—Your Nervous System Will Thank You

🎈Sign up to my "Newsletter" - Get your "Free" 🎁
mailchi.mp/c556a2398936/elizabethmagicalgarden ↩️

Have you ever stopped to think about why your nerves get rattled when you're not even doing anything? This could be a sign that you're tired of being tired. Whenever you're not being completely honest with yourself, your nervous system will start acting up. Why? Because your feelings matter. What you want out of life, believe it or not, is important—no matter what the naysayers will have you think. Your dreams are valid.

Think about it: how can you live a fulfilling life when you're not being honest with yourself? This could be a major roadblock when it comes to moving forward in your life.

### A Simple Practice That Changes Everything

One of the things I find helpful whenever I find myself in a place of confusion is this: I go outside and take a 20 to 30-minute walk. Studies show that when you go outside and walk, your nervous system becomes calm—not to mention the fresh air does wonders.

A lot of times, a change of environment helps shift your mindset, enabling you to receive clarity and giving your spirit a clear path to receive what God is trying to tell you. See, when we're not ready for the next big leap forward, we tend to hold ourselves back—hence nervous system issues. Walking will help you see things from a completely different perspective.

### Your Invitation to Peace

So the next time you're feeling anxious, go out and take a walk. You'll feel better. And remember: The Creator God is on your side.

Hugs,

Elizabeth
