- "1 - No knowledge" is no knowledge of high school Mathematics
- "2 - 10th standard" is having taken Mathematics in 10th
- "3 - 12th standard" is having taken Mathematics in 10th and 12th (12th classes commerce students should not select this option)
- "4 - Undergraduate" is having taken Mathematics in Undergraduate level
- "5 - Graduate (Masters and PhD)" is having taken Mathematics at Graduate level
