Proud papa, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and arm-chair philosopher John Papola explores the biggest issues facing our kids, our communities, and our country through the lens of fatherhood. We produce powerful stories, exclusive interviews, mini-documentaries, and deep dives on a weekly basis. Our goal is to build a movement of dads and could-be dads who embrace our heroic calling to raise a new generation ready to thrive in a free society and be champions of civilization. We’ve had all sorts of experts in the studio, including Jonathan Haidt, Dr. Drew, Michael Shellenberger, Bret Weinstein, Vivek Ramaswamy, and Adam Carolla.
New videos every Thursday.

AI is moving fast. Where do you see the biggest risks?
I’ll be digging into all of these issues in my video later today, so stay tuned.

In yesterday’s video I talked about how AI agents—especially OpenClaw—are a step-function change from the chatbot revolution of the past few years.
This demo from @matthew_berman shows what it looks like when an AI actually starts working independently on your computer.
Just remember: this stuff is still very new and fairly technical, so be careful before turning over control of your machine to the robots…

Today’s video is going to be all about the crazy recent developments with vibe coding and AI agents. So I’m curious—which AI models do you use most often?

Which of these titles fits this documentary best?
I’m submitting Episode 6 of "Death of Debate" to film festivals and would love your input.

Merry Christmas everyone. Christmas is a great time for nostalgia, AND hope for renewal.
Hope you're also snuggling up with the kids to enjoy one of the few legitimate modern classics, Elf. It feels like it's from another era... and I guess it was. Here's to the old virtues being new again.

Hi there, friends. This video by @GrahamStephan on the REAL reason for housing (un)affordability should be shown to every single American adult.
It is the truth. It is the facts. And it calls out all the BS and scapegoating that makes for easy clicks and stupid politics on both the left and right. I've covered many of these issues here, but he's done such a great job of bringing it all together that I recommend you check it out for the sheer knowledge enhancement! You'll come away with a much clearer picture of where real efforts on reform need to focus (hint: it's all local).
This is also an open invite for Graham to come on the show so we can dive into the details together.

I've been a fan of @Shoe0nHead for a few years, and this video really struck a chord with me, so I encourage you to check it out. We have our disagreements (mostly economics) but she's clearly coming from the fundamentally same moral core that I do, and I believe we're part of the same American identity that recognizes the sanctity of life, the right to pursue happiness, and the centrality of individual liberty protected by the rule of law (justified by the sanctity of life). These core American ideals, or the means to best achieve them perhaps, have been open to interpretations from the "left" (demanding radical change) and "right" (upholding good traditions) going back to the founding.
The people celebrating 9/10 are something else all together. Shoe grapples with this realization here, and it's worth watching, because she knows these people. She swims in their online world. And she is horrified by their proximity.
If you're a parent who's unsure how broad and deep the derangement of our society has become, and are seeing this because you tend to agree with me, please watch. It will be illuminating.

Here's a message we all need right now.
"On Wednesday, May 13, 1981, Mehmet Ali Agca pulled a gun and shot Pope John Paul II during a procession in St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City, Italy. Though critically wounded, the Pope survived four gunshot wounds to his abdomen. Following the shooting, Pope John Paul II asked people to “pray for my brother…whom I have sincerely forgiven”. In 1983, Pope John Paul II and Agca met and spoke privately at the prison where Agca was being held.
The Pope brought the photographer and the cameramen because he wanted the image in that cell to be shown around a world filled with unforgiving hatreds, with hostile superpowers, and smaller, implacable fanaticism."

I am shocked and shaken by the monstrous assassination of Charlie Kirk. My deepest prayers go out to his family, everyone around him who knew him... and for our country. I will have more to say about this with a little time to process it. This is a horrendous human tragedy and an attack on our civilization itself.
