Alabama quietly added former West Georgia DL Leslie Black.

He played a couple of seasons at Nebraska prior to his time in the South. According to Clint Lamb on X, he was a walk-on and likely will be a practice squad player at Alabama

“They’re already here on campus back in Tuscaloosa, but really, there are a lot of physical characteristics that both of them have.” - Grubb on Morgan and Crowell.

Went back and watched a couple of Benjamin Russell games from 2025. Of course - really impressed with Cederian Morgan. Grubb’s comments about him seeing the field may not be far off.

Something I’d be interested to see - Bama using his big body as a drag option. Could be very enticing imo, especially if defenses are man to man, I think he’s dangerous if those route produce space for him - as are most of bama’s receivers imo. But given his size - he may be more durable than some of the other options.

Obviously - he also has big play 50/50 ball upside. Look no further than a couple of wild catches in the Saraland game. Will be deadly in the boundary when/if they use him as at that X spot.

Of course at Bama - the expectation is to also be physical off the jump and in the run game at WR.

He brings a physical presence back to this WR room. It’s going to be hard to keep him off of the field indeed.

Alabama continues to work on #1 IOL Maxwell Hiller.

This kid is an absolute animal. No other way to put it. Can play guard or tackle. At 6’5, 300lbs - he can move - and I mean move.

Watching him pull is art. Watching him initiate contact once he pulls is next level stuff. Also - when we talk about playing to the whistle -he’s the textbook definition - often ending in a pancake.

Seriously - a brutal OL recruit. No idea how he’s as agile as he is - but that’s why he’s elite.

Not sure if Bama will close this one - but they’re in position…long waaaay to go to signing, but I’d love him in crimson.
