Hi everyone! Welcome to Photon Frontier. This is a channel that is dedicated towards science, and especially lasers. My videos will consist of fun tutorials, periodic table videos, and cool science experiments.
Note: You might notice that there are filmmaking-related videos posted on this channel. This is because my channel used to be a science and filmmaking channel, but I have decided to include filmmaking as a separate channel for more personalized content. For those who are interested in filmmaking-related content, you can check out my other channel here:

Hey everyone!
First of all, thank you so much for all the amazing support on my laser video! I never expected it to go viral, it’s now over 140,000 views, and it’s still growing.
I also want to apologize for being inactive on this channel over the past year. I’ve been so focused on schoolwork to get into first-year engineering, and I actually got accepted, so that’s pretty awesome!
I’ve noticed a lot of people asking for a tutorial. The truth is, there are already plenty of tutorials out there that explain how to build a laser like this. One video that personally inspired me was by this creator, so I would like to give a huge shoutout to him! For those who are curious, click on the link to see his tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-m21x...
Over the past few months, I’ve also been posting on another channel of mine (called Vision In Motion) that doesn’t take as much of my time, which is my filmmaking/photography channel. Filmmaking and photography are another passion of mine, and I share app tutorials (like the Blackmagic Camera App), trending camera comparisons, and photography tips and tricks. Once that channel gets monetized, I hope to start doing full camera reviews, which I’m really excited about. If you enjoy photography or filmmaking, that’s the channel for you. Here’s the link for all of you filmmaking nerds: youtube.com/@VisionInMotion-b2z
As for this channel, I’m still super fascinated with science, especially lasers. I hope to start posting more again when my academic workload eases, hopefully within the next year. I might post a video soon explaining what I’ll be up to in the future, both here and on my filmmaking channel, so more people can see the update. In the meantime, feel free to binge the videos already on this channel, or check out my other channel if you’re curious about filmmaking.
Thank you all for being part of this journey. Your support means a lot, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my YouTube adventure. You’re all awesome!

Hey everyone!
I hope all of you are doing well. For a few of my videos, I have spotted some technical difficulties with the audio. The voice-over audio in those videos is only oriented towards one speaker, which can be especially annoying to some people wearing headphones. Here's what I will be doing over the next few days:
I will delete the shorts videos that have this issue, and re-post them with the original title of the videos along with "(Audio Fix)", just so I don't confuse any of you who might have already watched those videos.
Other than that minor issue, everything else is going well. I am going to post a brand new video tomorrow, so stay tuned :)

Hey everyone!
As you might have seen in my last post, I have mentioned that I was going to build a handheld laser. Here are some updates about my laser project:
I am extracting the red laser diode out of an old DVD, and I am planning to place it in a cheap laser diode module, and replace the weak 3-5mw laser diode within it. The DVD laser diode will probably have an output power of around 250mw, so that's approximately 50 times the power!
I am then planning to place the powerful DVD laser module in a custom 3d-printed flashlight-style housing, so it becomes a handheld laser. I will then power it with an 18650 battery.
Down below is an image of what I've been up to. As you can see, I've made a huge mess! :D
Stay tuned everyone!

Hi everyone! Some of you might have seen my last post where I was thinking about starting another channel, and I have just finished making it this morning! I have decided to make a new filmmaking channel, because according to the analytics, most of my new subscribers came from my science videos. Here is what I will be up to in the future:
My Filmmaking Channel (Vision In Motion):
Since this is now a dedicated science channel, I have put filmmaking as a separate channel, where I will continue to make tutorials, post stock footage, and potentially even do camera reviews. I will also be moving some of my filmmaking-related videos on this channel to the filmmaking channel to avoid any confusion with new viewers. So, for all my current filmmaking viewers/subscribers, you can watch my upcoming videos here:
www.youtube.com/channel/UCkXM...
My Current Science Channel (Science At Another Level):
I will continue with my periodic table series, do even cooler science experiments, and I might even post some videos about a new, powerful handheld laser that I am currently building...
Just in case some of you don't see this post, I might post a more in-depth video on this channel that will explain all of this in more detail, so everyone is up to date and ready to watch more of my videos. If you have any questions about this, ideas for upcoming content, or suggestions to make this transition easier for everyone, please tell me in the comments below.
One last note: I am thankful for all of you who have taken time out of your day to watch my videos, support my channel (now channels), and help me produce better content. Stay tuned everyone! :)

Hi everyone! I know that this channel covers two main topics, science and filmmaking, so I was wondering which type of content you guys like better. I am thinking about creating a separate channel for either science or filmmaking, and dedicating this channel to just one topic or niche (the topic you guys choose). This is just so I can make content that's more personalized towards the majority of my current subscribers and get to know you guys a bit better. However, if some of your choices get voted out, not to worry. I will open up the other channel for you guys to subscribe to.

Hi everyone! Which videos should I post next?
Note: If one of the options wins majority vote, I won't exclude the other options in the future. However, I will try my best to prioritize the option with the most votes :)
