I usually try to make my own thumbnails but for the recent re-release of my Engineering Insecurity documentary with Prof. Majid Sharifi I used AI to generate something I had difficult producing myself.
It was truly an annoying experience. I often use AI to edit my scripts for grammatical mistakes and elimination of redundancy. But whenever the video is about Israel or Zionism, it engages in strict censorship and implies I am being antisemitic.
I share this information to give you a sense of how little revenue I bring in from this channel. As you know, many of my videos get shadow banned deleted or demonetized.
This makes it impossible for me to survive from YouTube revenue.
This isn’t a complaint. I do this because I love it. God has provided for me all my life. I will continue regardless because it has to be done.
But in order to keep doing this work with consistency and energy, I need your support. I don’t want to take breaks from this page just to earn some money on a subcontract or side hustle. I want to give this channel my all.
People assume the “& Co.” means I have an entire team.
I don’t.
I had one partner but unfortunately could not afford to keep him on.
So it’s just me, Ahmad.
I research, write, film and edit all my videos from A - Z.
I move as quickly as I can because we are in the midst of an information war where every second counts.

I apologize for the delays in production. I recently tore my ACL and needed surgery. As you know, healthcare in America is quite expensive. Since I do not have health insurance and did not want to pay out of pocket for the surgery, I decided to travel back home to visit the family and do the surgery here in Iraq where it is much more affordable.
In preparation for this long journey, I had to take a pause from these videos and focus on some paid work before traveling. This is why you haven't seen or heard much from me on YouTube.
The surgery went well, and I am recovering now so I will begin releasing new videos here and there. I have some gear with me so I can conduct interviews and edit new explainers too.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I care deeply about you all and am really grateful for your belief/support. I don't take it for granted and hope to return to full force for you all soon.
