A sunflower volunteered in our fire pit. I am so glad I didn’t pull it up. It makes me smile everyday when I see it!
September has come and fall is near, the garden is slowing down, and homeschooling has resumed. The shift of seasons isn’t always easy, but I’m grateful. How boring would life be if seasons didn’t change and things were always the same?

Our kitty Rosie had babies last week on the day of the storm. We were able to move them from the bushes to safety in the building prior to the storm. They’re so precious!
