I literally only discovered it by noticing the front end loader dumping snow in it and then put two and two together. I did some research, apparently the water goes through strict filtering for oil, sand, other pollutants like de-icer, and eventually goes into Boston Harbor. Super interesting and glad you guys thought so too!

Likely the biggest snow in four years is on the table for Boston. Could inch higher. But as you see even one inch is already causing problems. Travel will be close to impossible this evening. If I get some good stuff, will try to have a video for you all to wake up too 🫡

It’s been 1430 days since Boston had just six inches of snow from a storm as of this Sunday when that streak will end. A blockbuster storm finally will hit New England again. What’s crazy is two days ago no one thought this was happening. It’s because of the weather models which have been messed up for a year. I explained in this video:

Thought NYC had a good shot at its biggest snow storm since 2022…nope, big forecast bust. Sleet mixed in and basically kept the “snow drought” in place. Worse places to waste time in an inch or two of snow though.
