Knitting and crochet designer, tech editor and workshop trainer.
I teach knitters and crocheters various tips and techniques to help them get the best from their craft. One of my specialities is the Brioche Knitting technique. I have a series of videos on the Fundamentals of this technique for you.
I am also a tech editor and have worked on many amazing knitting & crochet patterns over the years to help designers, magazines, book publishers & yarn companies get their patterns into shape and be the best they can be.
Since 2020 I have also taught others how to become tech editors, many of which have set up their own successful tech editing businesses.

Island Knitting is part pattern book, part travel diary — full of colourwork projects inspired by island traditions and native wool breeds. It’s one of those books you read slowly, admire endlessly, and then start mentally reorganising your yarn stash for…

🧶 New Brioche Advanced Knitting Series 🧶
I’m starting a new Brioche Advanced Knitting series here on YouTube.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be adding tutorials that build step by step — from setting up correctly after the Italian cast on, through reading brioche charts, shaping with increases and decreases, working advanced stitch patterns, and finishing with a professional Italian bind off.
Each video focuses not just on how to work the stitches, but why they work, so advanced brioche feels logical rather than intimidating.
If you already know the basics of brioche and would like to deepen your skills with clear, structured teaching, this series is for you.
You can find the playlist here and follow along as new videos are added ⬇️
