Hey, do you remember that djent.app/ webapp I've built a few months ago? The thing that helps to write djent/thall riffs. So, I've improved MIDI export feature for bass and guitars in a way it automatically programs articulation for popular VST instruments.
So, there is the Groove 1.7.0 release with the next changes:
First: added support for Ample Sound: TR6 bass, Amole Sound: Metal Hellrazer, Solemn Tones: Loki Bass 2, and Solemn Tones: Odin 3 midi VST instruments. So muted, dead, and harmonic notes articulations are programmed automatically when you export MIDI file, no need to do this manually anymore. Just open the settings and select which VST you use.
Second: you can program articulation for the VST instrument you use which is not in the settings list. Open settings, select Custom option, and set up a few parameters. You would need to read the documentation on how to program articulations for your VST instrument.
p.s. I've got some feedback on midi export and hope this release will simplify using it.
