Most of the time, your mind gives up way before your body does. I’ve always believed in pushing through, whether it’s an injury in the gym or just life throwing crap your way. Minor pain or small setbacks? You can usually work around them.
But every now and then, you’ve got to admit that long-term progress means hitting pause, just for a bit. Sometimes you move forward by taking a step back.
I’ve had a nagging tendon issue in my left arm for a while now. Tried working around it, cutting out certain lifts, adjusting my training… but it’s still hanging around. So I’ve decided to give it proper rest. No biceps for a few weeks.
That doesn’t mean I’m taking time off. I’ll still be hammering legs, chest, back—everything else. Just being smarter about the long game.

One tweak doesn’t mean the whole plan falls apart. Adapt. Don’t quit.
