This still doesn’t feel real to say...

Last year I promised myself I’d upload one YouTube video every single week.

Today this channel’s sitting just under 25k subs.

I just dropped a video breaking down exactly how that happened...

Plus the three lessons I wish I knew when I was first getting started.

If you’re in that phase right now, this one’s for you mate:

Mate this took me WAY too long to understand.

I used to think confidence was something you had to "feel" first.

Like one day you’d wake up and suddenly feel ready, calm, sure of yourself...

But that's b*llshit.

You don’t build confidence by thinking your way into it.

You build it by taking action.

And then slowly, without noticing, the confidence shows up anyway :)

YouTubers, what’s your next milestone? 🎯

Hey mate 👋

So I just realized my last video was my 50TH VIDEO 🎉

So I wanted to share my top 5 lessons that I've learnt after 50 videos.

Enjoy!!

1️⃣ Create BINGE-worthy content

Think about it.

The longer someone stays watching you, the more money YouTube/the social media platform makes.

So obviously if we can get people binge-watching through our videos, the algorithm is just gonna show our content to more and more people.

Because we're making that platform more money.

Creators massively under-estimate the importance of creating content that:

• "leads into" the next video

• invites your viewer deeper into your world

• lets your viewers binge-watch your videos one after the other.

2️⃣ Get outside your comfort zone

You will not find the success you’re looking for by staying inside your comfort zone.

Whether it's showing your face on camera, or telling a vulnerable story...

Stepping outside your comfort zone is SUCH a cheat code to winning the game of content creation.

“If you want a life other people don't have, you have to do things that other people won't do.”

3️⃣ Find your unfair advantage

Don’t waste time trying to be the second-best version of someone else…

Figure out what YOUR unfair advantage is.

And go all in on that.

Maybe that’s your personality, your weird sense of humor, your ability to simplify complex ideas...

The point is: you have something that other people can’t easily replicate.

And once you figure out what that "thing" is, that’s when people notice you.

4️⃣ Look after yourself

Okay so this one’s a bit personal... but i think it matters more than people realise.

If you’re trying to build something from nothing (a channel, a brand, a full-time creator business)...

You HAVE to make sacrifices.

It's unavoidable.

But that doesn’t mean you should abandon your health, your body, or your peace of mind.

I've definitely had times where literally all i was focused on was content creation, and I simply wasn’t looking after myself.

But that's not a good idea.

At all.

Because when you start to sacrifice your health, your mindset, your sleep, everything else gets worse.

You start making bad decisions, your content isn’t as good as it could be, you're more emotional about things that don’t matter...

And that is not a place you want to be.

When you feel better, you create better. And better content is what actually gets you the results that you’re looking for.

5️⃣ You make your own luck

Let's be honest, sometimes creators get "lucky" and a video just blows up out of nowhere.

Sometimes a video explodes for weird, random reasons, and then amazing videos can just get buried by the algorithm.

But the way i see it - the more you create, the more luck you are creating for yourself.

So the more videos you post, the more u experiment, the more you push yourself outside your comfort zone, the more chances you give yourself to get “get lucky”.

And you can think about it like this - every upload is like rolling a dice, and the more dice you roll, the better your odds.

If you post 100 videos, you’re rolling that dice 100 times.

Which means you're way more likely to “get lucky” than someone who posts 3 videos and gives up.

Hope that helps! Next stop - 100 videos 😊

Mate every upload is basically you "casting a vote" for the creator you want to become.

And most people only vote when they feel like it.

Which is why nothing changes.

Because remember - you don’t wake up one day as a confident, full-time creator.

You slowly earn it through hundreds of small decisions nobody sees.

Hey mate 👋

I just dropped maybe the most important video I’ve made for small creators so far.

I’ve been noticing the same exact growth pattern showing up again and again with tiny creators… that blow up out of nowhere.

This isn’t motivation or generic YouTube advice.

It’s a repeatable 3-step framework you can actually use starting TODAY.

What stage are you actually in?

George Alexander

Mate most people are stuck in this weird limbo where they’re “trying to become a creator”.

Which usually just means:

• watching videos about creating

• over-thinking and over-planning

and I did this myself for WAY too long.

But at some point you have to make the uncomfortable switch from consumer mode to creator mode.

Less theory.

More messy uploads.

That’s the moment everything actually changes :)
