The genocide of Black people in Argentina was one of the greatest forgotten crimes of contemporary history. The disappearance of Black people in Argentina is a forgotten crime of history; The Legacy African History will tell you about this genocide forgotten by history. First, it must be known that the fascist president of Argentina from 1868 to 1874, Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, sought to eliminate Black people from the country through a policy of clandestine genocide by extremely repressive policies, including the forced recruitment of Black people into the army and forcing them to remain in neighborhoods where disease would decimate them in the absence of healthcare. In 1848, Sarmiento wrote in his journal of his intention to decimate the Black population of Argentina. By 1895, there were said to be so few Black people in Argentina as to amount to their near total disappearance. Today, if you go to Argentina, it is extremely rare to see Black people, unlike in the past, when they were numerous in the country. watch the full documentary.
